Dive Land Park

I did my Open Water certification at Dive Land Park and it was great. Of course it wasn't as exotic as a saltwater adventure, but it's a great park in an old stone quarry. I plan to finish my Advanced certification here, too, and will be able to go 100' for the deep dive (and I hear it's much deeper!). I'll be suiting up in a warmer wetsuit! There are several sunken wrecks there from boats to semi trailers. And there was a rock slide in recent years that added some neat boulders and shifted some of the wrecks in interesting positions. They have the buoyancy training course with hoops to try your peak performance buoyancy. Great place for a weekend trip to get in the water!
