Rasdhoo Beyru doesn’t ease you in. It’s a channel dive on the outer edge of Rasdhoo Atoll where the current runs hard, the wall drops into deep blue, and the open ocean is very much present. This is one of those dives where the setting does most of the talking. Come ready to drift!<\/span><\/p>\n

Why Rasdhoo Beyru Is Worth Diving<\/h3>\n

The channel sits where the atoll meets open water, and the current that pushes through keeps the reef in exceptional shape. Visibility is typically outstanding \u2014 the kind where you can watch the wall curve away beneath you and still see clearly to the bottom.
Hard and soft corals cover the wall, with reef fish stacked in the current throughout the dive. Grey reef sharks patrol the edges with the kind of calm confidence that makes them easy to watch. Eagle rays make appearances when conditions are right. It’s less about any single encounter and more about the whole dive feeling alive.<\/p>\n

Our Experience<\/h3>\n

The current was running, the water was clear, and the reef kept delivering from start to finish. A grey reef shark cruised by close enough to get a good look, and several eagle rays made a pass that stopped everyone mid-fin-kick. Exactly the kind of dive you replay on the boat ride back.<\/p>\n
